The hippocampus or hippocamp, also hippokampos, often called a sea-horse in English, is a mythological creature shared by Phoenician, Etruscan, Pictish, Roman and Greek mythology, though its name has a Greek origin.
This model was based off the fins of a betta fish, the shapely head of a seahorse and normal horse legs . It is a fun little piece that comes in many translucent colors or grey! If youre going to paint this model I HIGHLY suggest the grey. Grey prints smoother and cleaner than colored or clear resins do. Clear or colored resins have a tendency to show more print lines, But they are still beautiful as stand alone models. Please keep all unpainted models out of sunlight as over exposure can cause them to become brittle over time. If you would prefer a grey model for painting , please let us know in a note with your order. Thank you!
